From June 26, another 12 PENNY stores will join Munch
After the successful test period, from June 26, 11 PENNY stores in Budapest and one in Gyál will be added to the list of units where Munch’s service is available. Back in April, the store chain signed a cooperation agreement with the online platform to act together against food waste. In the past more than two months, customers could choose from three types of munch packages, and they could get surprise food packages with a 50 percent discount.
The following units joined the already existing PENNY stores on Lehel tér and József körút:
1036 Budapest, Pacsirtamező utca 41-43.
1042 Budapest, Rózsa utca 20-22.
1068 Budapest, Király utca 82.
1076 Budapest, Garay tér 20.
1096 Budapest, Thaly Kálmán utca 41.
1102 Budapest, Kolozsvári utca 55.
1108 Budapest, Sibrik Miklós út 23.
1133 Budapest, Véső utca 11.
1135 Budapest, Jász utca 105.
1152 Budapest, Régi Fóti út 66-68.
1196 Budapest, Üllői út 266.
2360 Gyál, Kőrösi utca – Mátyás Király utca
The offer will continue to include fruit and vegetable and mixed surprise combinations, which are available at a discount of at least 50 percent compared to the original value of the products. Thus, by purchasing these, customers can not only prevent food waste, but also save significant amounts of money during shopping.
