Junior Prima Award Hungarian Awareness and Media Category 2025
This year’s award ceremony for the Hungarian dissemination and media category of the Junior Prima Award was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where six outstanding young professionals received their awards. The event was hosted by László Krisán, CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt., who emphasized the decisive role of young talents in the world of domestic media and dissemination in his inspiring speech.
The Prima Primissima Award was founded by Sándor Demján in 2003 with the aim of recognizing and supporting outstanding personalities in Hungarian culture, science and art. The Junior Prima Award was established in 2007 to give young people under the age of 30 the opportunity to compete and be recognized professionally. The special significance of the award is that it supports talents at the beginning of their careers, thereby contributing to their professional success in the long term.
The Junior Prima Award press category has been supported by KAVOSZ Zrt., the coordinator of the Széchenyi Card Program, since 2014, in agreement with its owners, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers. Since then, the company has been present in the life of the award not only as a sponsor, but also as an active caregiver, promoting the professional development of young journalists and media professionals. “We believe that the attention and support invested in talent not only elevates individuals, but also builds communities. That helping young creators, content creators, editors and journalists is actually energy invested in social development.” – said László Krisán, CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt. in his speech.
The jury this year again selected six young professionals who enrich the domestic media with their credible information, innovative thinking and dedication and strengthen the knowledge base of society. The 2025 awardees are:
Balázs Máté Blahunka (Overline Media Kft.)
Anna Gáll (Index)
Vivien Hernandez Franco (M2 Petőfi TV)
Kristóf Mohos (Portfolio)
Evelin Somody (Trend FM)
Kristóf Szentimrei (Magyar Katolikus Rádió)
They are all building a career that stands out in the Hungarian media world, and with their work they contribute to society’s broad awareness, cultural awareness and responsible information acquisition.
László Krisán emphasized at the award ceremony: “It is an honor to give an award to the future.” His words highlighted that the young awardees are not only defining figures of our present, but also shapers of our future.
