Producer prices in the euro area rose in July
In July, industrial producer prices in the euro area rose more than expected from the previous month, according to a report by Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office.
In July, instead of the expected 0.5 percent, industrial producer prices in the euro area rose by 0.6 percent month-on-month. In June, the monthly rise in industrial producer prices was 0.7 percent.
In the European Union, producer prices rose 0.4 percent in July after a 0.8 percent monthly rise in June. (MTI)
