German retail sales declined in July
In July, retail sales in Germany decreased more than expected, based on the Federal Statistical Office’s report.
In July, retail sales declined by 0.4 percent, compared to the 0.2 percent decline expected by experts, both with seasonal and calendar adjusted, compared to the previous month, following the 0.9 percent growth of June – Destatis wrote.
Compared to a year before, retail sales grew by 0.8 percent in real terms in July. (MTI)
