Inflation was 0.4 percent in July, while the price of food rose above the average
In July, consumer prices increased by an average of 0.4 percent, compared to a year before, while compared with June have not changed on average – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In July, the price of alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices increased the most, while the price of fuels and household energy declined from a year earlier.
The consumer prices in the first seven months of the year were on average 0.3 percent lower, compared to the same period of the last year.
The seasonally adjusted annual core inflation rose to 1.3 percent in July, from the 1.2 percent of the previous month, while the monthly data was unchanged: 0.1 percent. (MTI)
