The CEO of Budapest Airport is leaving at the end of July
Chris Dinsdale, the general manager of Budapest Airport, will leave the company at the end of July, and from August he will take up the position of president and CEO of the Calgary Airport Authority in Canada, which operates the Calgary International Airport, Budapest Airport Zrt. told MTI on Monday.
Since 2015, Chris Dinsdale has worked as a financial director, later also as deputy general manager, and since 2021 as general manager at the company that operates Liszt Ferenc International Airport. It played a major role in the fact that the airport was repeatedly awarded the Skytrax “Best Airport in Eastern Europe” award, as well as the “Best Airport in Europe” award announced by the Airports Council International (ACI) on Monday. Chris Dinsdale’s work greatly contributed to the development of the airport into a flagship of Hungarian tourism and a worthy gateway to Hungary, the company’s announcement reads.
