The diabetic indication disappears from the foods from 20 July
From 20 July the “diabetic”, the ” diabetics can consumed it” and the orange circle marking on foods, will not be used, because such markings can be misleading – origo wrote.
The EU regulation terminating the diabetic food category will came into force on 20 July 2013, and three years' grace period was given to the manufacturers of “diabetic” foods, and distributors to prepare and to adjust to a new developed system. (origo)
