Hungary’s largest carriers' representative organization to celebrate jubilee
The Magánvállalkozók Nemzeti Fuvarozó Ipartestülete (NiT Hungary) Industrial Corporation of Private Carriers will celebrate its 25th birthday this year.
The NiT Hungary has about 3,000 members, including 599 bus and 2359 trucking contractors.
The advocacy organization was established in 1990 with no more than 114 members and 1 million HUF member contributions. The organization closed year 2013 with a turnover of 1.5 billion HUF.
In the future, the NiT Hungary’s objectives will be to make the roads safer, therefore they are lobbying for a state aid involving driving techical regulation, which would bound the truck driver's license to mandatory trainings.
