Deposit fee on plastic bottles from the next year
The government plans that from 2014, a 30 HUF deposit fee would burden the plastic bottles, PET bottles, bottles made of glass and yogurt cups as well.
State Secretary Illés Zoltán said today that in Hungary 60 thousand tons of PET bottles are marketed annually, most of them lands on garbage hills.
The government aims to spend ten billion HUF to build the logistics system out, especially vending machines would be placed in the small shops where empty bottles could be thrown. (Köpöncei Csilla, magyarhirlap.hu)
