No pay rise for those who make more than the minimum wage
According to a new survey by GKI, about 79% of Hungarian companies with annual net revenue over 250 million HUF plan to use the increase in the minimum wage as a cap for pay rises across the board.
The survey shows 13% of the companies plan to keep wages unchanged or at most raise them at the rate of inflation, while 8% expect to raise wages under the increase in consumer prices.
