Fresh domestic watermelon to arrive

Domestic, high-quality, fresh watermelons will be available all over the country from the beginning of next week – the National Agricultural Chamber’s (NAK) panorama reveals. The Hungarian melon growers have adapted to customer needs and climatic changes: there will be fresh melons on the markets even in mid-September, as well as seed low and mini melons, for example.

In connection with the beginning of the melon season, the Association of Hungarian Melon Producers and the NAK’s Melon Working Group is confident that the supermarket chains will break the harmful practices of the previous years and will not launch the market of domestic melons with drastic discounts.
