The dm held a charity soccer tournament for the youngest
dm and its partners supported the Százhalombatta Parents’ Forum Association in the framework of the 7th charity soccer tournament organized this year: thanks to the HUF 5 million grant, 70 families can benefit from the complex individualized treatments provided by the association free of charge.
The Hungarian dm organized the dm Charity Soccer Tournament for its business partners for the 7th time this year. The initiative was started by the employees in 2014. The basic idea of the tournament is for the employees of the drug store to meet their cooperating partners in a slightly different way, in a more informal way, and to do all this for a good cause. The tournament is organized annually for the benefit of an NGO selected by the dm staff. The main aspect of the selection is that the scope of the organization’s activities fits into the dm’s support strategy (health education and support for disadvantaged families and children), and that it operates in the region of the dm’s central offices and warehouse (Érd, Törökbálint, and its catchment areas). Every year a different organization receives the support.
This year, dm and its business partners supported the Szülők Fóruma Egyesület of Százhalombatta with HUF 5 million from the tournament’s entry fees. One of the drugstore’s offices and logistics center is located in Érd, several of the company’s colleagues live in neighboring Százhalombatta and are already connected to the organization as private individuals.
