Smart malls are coming
Between 2019 and 2020 about 4.4 million square metres of new mall floor space will be created in Central and Eastern Europe, which will answer the challenges of retail in the 21st century with smart solutions, a modern design and bigger community spaces. The latest research results reveal that instead of the former focus on buying, today’s mall visitors care more about experiences tailored to their needs; according to a recent survey by Euromonitor, more than one third of European consumers prefer spending their money on experiences to buying products.
Etele Plaza is a new-generation mall in Hungary that is built in the style of the so-called skin architecture. //
