Tenders for the development of the fruit and vegetable sector to appear soon

In the following months, several proposals will be published to support improvements in the fruit and vegetable sector. In the applications, in addition to the individual farmers, producer marketing organizations (POs) and producer groups can also participate – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said in Szentes on Friday.

Nagy István, Parliamentary Minister of State at the conference and exhibition of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation (FruitVeB) said that vegetable growing segment employs the largest workforce therefore plays a prominent role in the retention ability of the rural population.
