Debrecen Wine and Jazz days are coming
The Debrecen Wine and Jazz Days are the most atmospheric festival of the summer, where you can taste the finest domestic wines to soft jazz tunes under the huge trees of the Great Forest. It will be worth taking the Debrecen City Card with you to the four-day festival starting on August 8 this year, as card holders can enjoy discounted festival admission and wine tasting on site.
After the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival, the Hortobágy Riding Days and the Campus Festival, the Debrecen City Card provides discounted entry to another event: a full-price day ticket and pass for the Debrecen Wine and Jazz Days starting on August 8 can be purchased with a 10% discount with the Debrecen City Card.
In addition to the discounted admission, Debrecen City Card holders also have a wine tasting: on Fridays and Saturdays between 5 and 7 p.m., upon presentation of the City Card, they can taste one of the award-winning wines named Debrecen City Wine 2024 for free in the VisitDebrecen wooden house. You can choose from the following items:
Tamás Günzer Winery, Mont Blanc Cuvée 2023 (Villányi Wine Region)
Bujdosó Winery and Winery, “Mentőöv” Balatonboglár rosé 2023 (Balatonboglár Wine Region)
Takler Borbirtok, Cabernet Franc 2019 (Szekszárd Wine Region)
Of course, the entire range of Debrecen City Wine 2024 will also be available in the VisitDebrecen wooden house, which was selected by a professional jury from among 500 wines from 130 wineries in 21 wine regions. The wine with the Debrecen Város Bora label means real status, because it guarantees that the consumer gets to know the unique value inherent in Hungarian wine regions, a special wine experience and the Hungarian wine culture even better.
