All tobacco products will have the same appearance, and will bear the same images on the cigarette packs – Lázár János announced at the government’s press conference.
He did not discole details about the introduction of the legislation, but he said that the parliament will vote on the matter in September.
This system is already operating in Australia and France, while Ireland is planning its introduction – the Minister leading the Prime Minister's Office told. He also mentioned that the special tax that will be paid by the tobacco companies would cover the construction of the new hospital in Budapest. (Index hirado.hu)
