Job Fair 2025 is coming – the free labor market meeting will be held between April 9-11
The HVG Job Fair has turned 18 – those who were born in the year of the first event, 2007, can participate in this year’s job fair as adults starting their careers. The event, which is free for visitors, will be held between April 9-11 this year. The labor market meeting will be hybrid in accordance with demand: on the first two days, April 9-10, interested parties and employers can meet in person at the Dr. Koltai Jenő Sports Center.
The online event takes place on all three days of the event. Job seekers can join from anywhere in the country and can also reach employees via chat. Participation in the event is free, but registration is required. You can register on the website https://hvgallasborze.hu/.
One of the biggest problems for businesses is the lack of specialists, it is no wonder that in 2025 the biggest fight is for the employee himself. Companies are no longer looking for just twenty-year-olds, but also for those in their 30s and 40s, as there is a serious shortage of experienced workers. The attitude of employees has also changed: the 16-29 age group is not interested in the name of the company, but rather the task itself, the development opportunities and the work-life balance. While 18 years ago the issue of salary was only raised at the end of the negotiation, today salary is no longer a taboo subject. Many companies publish their benefits themselves, and job seekers also have access to calculators and comparative data.
