Heineken performed well, the but not on the Hungarian Market
The world's third-largest brewing group the Dutch Heineken, reported a 1.436 billion euros after-tax profit for the last year, 37 percent more than the 1.018 billion of 2009.
The company’s turnover increased by 9.7 percent to 16.133 billion euros, from the 14.701 billion euros of the previous year. The Hungarian branch of Heineken, the Sopron-based Heineken Hungária Breweries Ltd. last fall estimated a 2 billion HUF less revenue for last year, than in 2009. At the beginning of the year a 4-5 percent increase was expected, after the lower than 1 percent expansion of 2009 – reports MTI.
