Romanian retail started the year well
In the first two months, the volume of retail sales in Romania increased by almost 5 percent, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Friday.
According to the raw data, the increase was 4.8 percent, compared to last year's first two months. According to the seasonal and calendar adjusted data, the increase was 4.9 percent. The increase was mainly due to the expansion of fuel, food, tobacco and alcohol sales. (MTI)
