The European Swimming Championship boosted up the occupancy of the hotels
During the European Swimming Championship, that was held on the Margit Island of Budapest, hotel occupancy was 79.7 percent, which was 11.7 percent higher, than in the same period of 2009 and 5.1 percent higher than the datas of August.
The Hungarian Hotel Association told to MTI, that the average room price was 13,802 HUF during the European Swimming Championship, which is 9.8 percent higher than the average price for the same period of 2009 and 2.5 percentage points higher, than the average price of the hotels of Budapest in August 2010 – reports MTI.
