Grain exports increased by almost one quarter

In the first seven months,1200 billion HUF surplus was accumulated in the foreign trade balance. The exports were driven by vehicle manufacturing, but a sharp increase was measured in imports of consumer electronics sales. However, wheat and corn produced outstanding datas, much less fruits and vegetables came from abroad as well.

In July, foreign trade expanded slightly: exports increased by 5.6, imports by 4.8 percent, compared to the base period.

The export of food products, beverages, tobacco products increased by 7.7 percent, while imports of these fell by 4.3 percent. The grain exports increased by almost one quarter.
