ADNS against counterfeiting
It is estimated that approximately 10 percent of the Hungarian trade turnover comes from counterfeiting, which means several hundred billion HUF loss of revenues for the budget. The damage caused by counterfeiting is estimated at 500 billion euros worldwide.
The ADNS (Attestation DataNet Service) process, developed by the experts of Intersoft Hungary Kft. can be an important tool in the fight against counterfeiting. The system is capable to identify excise duty products, as well as for the source protection of hungaricums or organic products. The system’s global patent protection process will start soon. The National Development Agency contributed to the 293 million HUF project budget with 132 million HUF EU sources in the scope of the “Business Innovation Support” tender. (Világgazdaság Online)
