Joe Biden called on traders to reduce prices in the wake of the high inflation figure
The President of the United States of America, responding to the higher-than-expected inflation data, called on American companies and trade actors to reduce their prices in order to reduce inflation.
According to Joe Biden, although the rate of price increase has moderated by 60 percent from its peak in mid-2022, it is still too high, especially the price of housing and food.
He explained that he has a plan to build and renovate 2 million new homes to reduce housing costs. The president has promised that fighting inflation will remain his top economic priority.
The former president, Donald Trump, commented on the new data in front of journalists as follows: Joe Biden has lost control over inflation and the high level of price increases has returned. Speaking at the airport before his campaign event in Georgia, the unofficial Republican presidential candidate said that Biden “has no idea what he’s doing and is the worst president in the history of this country.”
