Retail sales were developing well at the end of last year
In November 2018 like-for-like retail volume sales augmented by 5 percent; adjusted for calendar effects, the sales growth was 4.9 percent – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Non-food sales grew by 8.2 percent and motor fuel volume sales rose 5.6 percent. Food and food-type retail sales increased by 2 percent. In January-November 2018 like-for-like volume sales – adjusted for calendar effects – surpassed the previous year’s level by 6.3 percent. //
