There are good opportunities in the market on the retail savings front
2025 brought a new situation in the field of retail savings, with the yield of inflation-tracking government securities, which previously offered very attractive double-digit yields, decreasing significantly. However, the investment environment can be said to be favorable and, according to the current outlook, there are still targets on the market that promise significant returns – it was revealed at the K&H Értékpapír press event, at which the company’s experts outlined the current investment situation and prospects, and also introduced the latest service with which savings can be easily managed.
For many Hungarian retail investors, inflation-tracking government securities have been an essentially risk-free, safe solution to increasing their savings in recent years. At the same time, the previously high yields fell in 2025. For this reason, some of those savers who have previously invested mainly in government securities are now looking for new opportunities. In the current market situation and outlook, attractive returns can be achieved in several areas, with different investment targets – this was revealed, among other things, at the K&H Securities press event, at which the company presented its latest digital solution that fits the strategy of the parent company (KBC Group), the K&H webtrader service, with the help of which every investor can easily choose different instruments.
“The current market environment is extraordinary because retail savings of the order of one thousand billion forints are looking for a place in the market. K&H Securities, which has entered a new era, provides appropriate guidance in this. With the strong banking background and expert analyses provided by K&H and KBC, we strive to provide the best possible service to investors. The innovations we introduced in 2024 are now followed by the renewal of our K&H webtrader interface. The platform: a modern, digital tool that simplifies the management of investments. This allows investors to choose cost-effectively from ETF investments, individual stocks and many other instruments,”
– said István Horváth, head of K&H Securities, at the company’s press event.
