A good corn crop is expected

The harves of corn has started, and as expected a good, about 8-9 million tons of crops can be expected this year after last year's 6.7 million tons – the President of the National Association of Grain Producers (GOSZ) told MTI on Tuesday.

A record high, 7 tons average yield per hectare is expected for this year, from the sawn area of about 1.2 million hectares. (MTI)
