Good news for companies: tax administration burdens are simplified
At the EU level, Hungary has made exemplary changes in the field of reducing tax administration in recent years, and the government continued this with the Event-based Data Service Platform (EMAP) project, which aims to reduce the administrative burdens of businesses related to employment, Norbert Izer told MTI.
With the new, innovative solution, companies can save time and money – stated the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance responsible for tax affairs. One element of increasing competitiveness is reducing the bureaucratic burden of companies. While in the case of individuals – with the preparation of the personal income tax return at the tax office – the tax-related administration has been reduced to almost zero, that of businesses is still significant. Therefore, in order to further improve competitiveness, it is absolutely necessary to reduce the administrative burden – explained the state secretary.
