Beekeepers will close a good year
This year’s honey harvest will be one thousand tonne more than in 2014, despite the drought and the extremely hot summer – Napi Gazdaság wrote.
Although the volume of sunflower and mixed-flower honey decreased, more was produced from the best quality, and thus the most expensive acacia honey. Prices fell compared to last year's historic highs, but the farmers are happy – Mészáros László, president of the Hungarian National Apiculture Association (OMME) told. (MTI, hirado.hu)
