Ifo’s German business sentiment index for March deteriorated significantly

In the monthly survey conducted by the ifo Institute for Economic Research of the University of Munich (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e. V.), the business sentiment index in March fell to its lowest level since January last year, to 90.8 points. The February value (98.5 points) was a five-month high and by then the indicator had risen for the second consecutive month. (MTI)
