The turnover of the baths in Budapest increased considerably
The turnover of the baths in Budapest increased significantly in the heat. On Tuesday and Wednesday on the 11 beaches more than 46,000 people were bathing – the Budapest Gyógyfürdői és Hévizei Zrt. told MTI on Thursday.
Last year, at the same period the number of visitors did not reach 18,000. In the past two days most of the guests have been welcomed by the Palatinus Beach, open all year round, reaching 6,000 on August 1, and the number of visitors were over 6,000 on August 2, while the average number of visitors on an average weekdays is around 3,000.
