Amazon’s revenue and profit increased significantly in the last quarter of 2018
Compared to a year before, Amazon’s sales and profits rose significantly in the last quarter of 2018, according to the company’s flash report released on Thursday.
Amazon’s net sales rose by about 20 percent from 60.5 billion USD of 2017, to about 72.4 billion USD in the last three months of last year, surpassing analyst expectations. The company’s operating profit increased to 3.8 billion USD in the fourth quarter of 2018 from the 2.1 billion USD of 2017. (MTI)
