Agricultural exports increased significantly
The value of agricultural and food exports in the January-September period of last year was 4.988 billion euros, while the import value was 3.132 billion euros – informs the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) in its most recent summary.
According to the datas, published in the latest issue of Agrárgazdasági Figyelő; the exports of agricultural products in the first three quarter of 2011 resulted in a surplus of 1.856 billion euros. This is 26 percent higher than in the same period of 2010. Exports increased by 21.2 percent imports by 18.6 percent – reports MTI.
