Significant increase in the income of agricultural production
According to the recent preliminary datas of the Agricultural Research Institute (AKI), the per hectare income of the individual farmers and primary producers increased by 47 percent in 2011, over the previous year, mainly due to the rise in grain prices.
The study shows that the income of food-producing farmers increases almost continuously since the EU accession, partially due to direct subsidies increasing from year to year. After the decline of 2009, income continued to grow in 2011.
The basic datas were provided by the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) test system operated by the Agricultural Research Institute (AKI). (by our colleague)
