The number of insolvency proceedings increased significantly in the first quarter
The number of insolvency proceedings increased exceptionally, by 33 percent in the first quarter in Hungary, compared to the datas of the previous year – states the comparative analysis of the Bisnode group, published on Wednesday.
According to the datas of the comparative analysis, comparing 12 European countries (Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark), one out of four liquidation proceedings against companies were launched in Hungary.
According to the communication, the number of bankruptcies, liquidation and winding up procedures in the Central European region increased by 25 percent, while in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the growth rate was below 2 percent. In four countries – Denmark, Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic – the number of winding-up procedures did not increase. (MTI)
