Because of the heat, the demand for beer can increase significantly this summer – according to the Association of Hungarian Brewers.
The organization in its Tuesday statement describes that last summer, the daily maximum temperature was 2-6 degrees Celsius lower than the year before, while beer consumption was 7 percent less than in the same period in 2013.
The association data also shows that in 2014 June was strong, so in the second quarter last year, 8 percent more beer was sold than in the same period of the previous year. (MTI)
