Demand for cruise vacations is growing significantly
The cruise market is set to witness a record year: according to data from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), 37.1 million people worldwide will travel on ocean liners in 2024, compared to 31.7 million last year.
Cruise tourism is becoming increasingly popular, as it offers luxury, comfort and diverse destinations. Interest in European cruises is also growing; bookings are rising dynamically. According to Gabriella Toldi, CEO of Jet Travel Kft., Hungarian travelers mainly choose 7-10-day Mediterranean cruises, the prices of which can be customized. According to CLIA, 82 percent of previous travelers would take a cruise again.
