Growth significantly slows in the German and in the Hungarian economy
Compared to the first quarter, the Hungarian economy has stagnated. Even compared to last year's numbers a 1.5 percent growth can be seen in the second quarter datas – shows the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). More worrying news that the German economy's growth has almost stopped. France stagnates, while Spain barely increases.
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) stagnated in this year's second quarter, compared to the previous quarter and was 1.5 percent higher compared to the previous year – states the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday on the basis of the preliminary figures. This is a significant slowdown, compared to the annual 2.5 percent and 0.3 percent quarterly growth of the previous quarter. Analysts calculated with 2.1 to 2.3 percent economic growth – reports Népszabadaság Online.
