The German labor market barometer improved significantly in February
The IAB (Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung)’s labor market barometer rose 1.8 points to 104.4 points in February, according to a report published on the organisation’s website on Monday.
Both components of the indicator have risen. The value quantifying the development of unemployment increased remarkably compared to January, by 2.9 points to 102.9 points. This is the second consecutive increase since a sharp decline since the summer of 2021. (MTI)
