US consumer sentiment improved significantly in February
The US consumer sentiment was much better than expected in February, according to the Michigan University’s regular monthly survey, which was published on Friday.
The consumer sentiment index stood at 95.5 points in February after the 91.2 points in January. In February last year, the indicator stood at 99.7 points.
Analysts expected a less improvement indicator: 93 points. (MTI)
