Significant improvement in consumer sentiment in the world's largest economy
In November, the U.S. consumer confidence increased to a peak have not seen for five months, which indicates the expected strengthening of the economy – told the U.S. Conference Board's Economic Research Institute on Tuesday.
The index increased to 54.1 points, from the revised 49.9 points of October. The experts expected 52.7 points. The indicator of the current economic situation increased to 24 points from 23.5 points, while the value of the future expectations sub-index improved to 67.5 points, from 74.2 points – reports ProfitLine.hu.
