The packing house price of table eggs increased significantly in the first 16 weeks of 2025
According to AKI PÁIR data, the packing house prices of table eggs in Hungary increased significantly in the average of the first sixteen weeks of 2025.
The packing house price of M+L size eggs from cage farming was 67.12 forints/piece, which represents a 22.2 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. The price of eggs from deep-litter farming was 75.39 forints/piece at the same time, which represents a 19.2 percent increase compared to the previous year.
