Fruit prices in Serbia rose significantly in 2025

Fruit prices in Serbia increased by 68.2 percent last year compared to the previous year, the country’s statistical office announced.

According to the office’s data, the prices of agricultural and fishery products increased by an average of 10.7 percent last year. In addition to the significant increase in the price of fruit, the 12.3 percent increase in the price of cereals contributed the most to the price increase.

In December 2025, the prices of agricultural and fishery products were 4 percent higher than a year earlier. Among the main product groups, the biggest impact was on the price increase of cereals by 7.2 percent and livestock and poultry by 5 percent.

However, compared to the previous month, the price of agricultural and fishery products decreased by an average of 2.2 percent in December 2025. The largest price drops were recorded in the livestock and poultry group (2.7 percent) and cereals (2.3 percent).
