The price of basic foodstuffs may significantly rise in Ukraine

The price of several basic foodstuffs may significantly rise in Ukraine soon. The competent ministry drafted a proposal under which the state regulation on the price of various meat, egg, and oil products will be terinated – the Kommersant-Ukrajina wrote on Tuesday.

According to the plans of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, only the cheapest foods would remain under state price regulation. The newspaper has been informed that pricing would be free in case of beef, pork and poultry meat, and among the higher quality meat products, eggs, and bottled cooking oil products.
