World grain market prices significantly decreased
According to the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture, domestic and world grain market prices significantly decreased in recent months.
In the last month, the price of cereals in Hungary also fell significantly due to the better yield results, the reduced domestic demand and the deterioration of the lending ability of banks.
According to experts, the world's wheat crop is expected this year, 654 million tonnes which is 2 million tonnes more than was expected in the previous month, and 5 percent lower than last year's record. The yield expectations improved in Russia, in the United States, in China and in Morocco, but declined in the EU, in Canada and in Argentina – reports Origo.
