Goodwill Pharma Plc. has significantly expanded its production and warehouse capacity
Goodwill Pharma Plc. has expanded its warehouse capacity, built a research, development and innovation laboratory, a new central office, and a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Szeged. The investment, worth almost 5 billion forints, was handed over on Thursday.
Ferenc Jójárt, the CEO of the Szeged company, said at the ceremony that Goodwill Pharma is proof of how a multinational pharmaceutical company can be built from a rural town in Hungary.
Between June 2022 and the end of November last year, developments were implemented at three locations with 1.767 billion forints of conditionally non-refundable EU and domestic support within the framework of the Hungarian Multi Program.
The company has developed a logistics center sufficient to store 4-5 thousand pallets of medicines. It has built a manufacturing plant that meets pharmaceutical industry standards, to which the first machines have already arrived, so the first Szeged-manufactured medicines may be produced at the company by the end of the year or early next year.
The company has established a new pharmaceutical laboratory to expand its research and development activities, and has also developed a new office building in the city center of Szeged – the CEO explained the details of the developments.
