The Waberer’s group expects significant growth in its updated strategy in the coming years
In its updated strategy, the Waberer’s Group expects to become the number one complex logistics service provider in the Central and Eastern European region by 2027, and its sales revenue and EBIT (operating) result will be almost double that of last year, the company told MTI on Thursday.
The significant growth will be achieved by the group through further investments, acquisitions, infrastructure development, diversification of its activities, and by increasing the added value of its services – they explained. They also noted that they pay special attention to sustainability aspects while increasing their capital market activity.
According to the plans, the group with a warehouse capacity of almost 250,000 square meters, a modern fleet of 2,900 trucks and 6,000 employees can increase its sales by 72 percent from last year’s 676 million euros to 1.2 billion euros, while its EBIT result will increase from 33 million euros by 82 percent to 61 million euros. may rise to 2027 – they wrote.
Zsolt Barna, the president and CEO of Waberer’s International Nyrt., said in the announcement that a significant part of the previous strategic goals defined in 2021 have now been fulfilled, and their results are clearly visible in the management figures for 2023. He emphasized that today the Waberer’s group is Europe’s dominant road logistics company with its own fleet and Hungary’s market-leading complex logistics service provider. The company, which is listed in the premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange, aims to become the number one complex logistics service provider in the Central and Eastern European region by 2027 with a comprehensive, customer-oriented and sustainable service portfolio.
