The NAV seized a considerable amount of cigarettes and tobacco in Borsod
Two thousand five hundred boxes of contraband, mainly Ukrainian cigarettes and more than a hundred kilograms of cut tobacco were seized in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county by the finance officers of NAV in the past month.
Mayor Horváth Tivadar, customs and excise director of the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) told on Saturday in Miskolc at a press conference that in 2014, 6576 non-taxed cigarette boxes, worth more than six million HUF, and about 300 kilograms of illegal tobacco in a value of 5.2 million HUF was seized.
