Significant price increases may occur in case of dairy products
Experts are not exclude that by the end of the year the shops will be out of butter. the European milk shortages can be huge – hvg.hu wrote.
The price of sour cream and butter may increase by about 10 percent, and the price of other dairy products may rise by about 5-7 percent from 1 September – Mélykuti Tibor, the chairman of the Milk Product Board told InfoRádió.
From 2019, the VAT on long-lasting milk will drop to 5 percent, so milk may be cheaper from January, but a higher price increase may occur until then. (hvg.hu)
