Tesco has published its report
Tesco’s sales fell during the Christmas season. A report by the largest UK retail network in London on Thursday said the downturn particularly affected by Central European interests, mainly it is due to the restructuring of the Polish business.
According to a periodic report published by the London Stock Exchange (LSE), group-level sales fell 1.5 percent year-over-year in the 19 weeks ending January 4.
Within the average of the 19-week period under review, sales for the third quarter of the current business year ended November 23, decreased by 1.4 percent, and for the four weeks remaining until January 4, by 1.7 percent. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
