Higher than expected profits at Nike
Nike reported profits far beyond the analyst’s expectations for the closed quarter, but despite the fact that the new advertising campaign was successful, profit margins only rose slightly and management did not change their 2019 expectations either.
The most important figure of the quarter ended at the end of August:
Revenues reached 9.948 billion USD and were 10 percent higher than in the same period last year, which was in line with analysts’ expectations. (portfolio.hu)
